Wednesday 9th May
21.30   Guests arrive at Plymouth
22.30   Arrival of coach at Teignmouth. Guests to meet families at East cliff carpark

Thursday 10th May

Visit to The House of Marbles in Bovey Tracey
During the evening we will meet in groups for a meal
In the evening we will meet in groups for supper. If you feel able to host a group supper, then please contact me and I’ll pass your details onto Margaret Sheppard who is organising this part of the itinerary.

Friday 11th May
11.30   Civic Reception at Bitton House
11.45   Speeches by civic representatives
12.30    Dutch buffet lunch at Bitton House
13.30   Depart Bitton House for guided walk into Teignmouth, or visit to Teignmouth
Museum

16.00   Arrive TAAG
16.30   Aperitifs
17.00   Private view of art exhibition, speeches by both civic representatives
18.00   Private Art exhibition viewing closes
Presentation of ‘Best Picture’ prize with aperitifs
Dinner with families

Saturday 12th May
Group to take train to Exeter Central Station

12.00   Cathedral Visit in Exeter
13.30   Lunch in Exeter at The Guildhall

14.15   French language tour departs Exeter Cathedral
14.30   English language tour departs Exeter Cathedral

15.30   Free time in Exeter
17.00   Depart Exeter for return to Teignmouth
17 .30 Arrive Teignmouth
19.30   Formal Dinner at Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish
21.30   Music and dancing with entertainment from
the Lucy Lastic Band

Sunday 13th May
Free day with host families – range of optional activities to include trip to Shaldon on Ferry, walk up Hay Tor on Dartmoor or walk down to Babbacombe beach and return via funicular cliff railway. 
17.30   Smugglers Inn for Carvery early supper
19.00   Coach pick up from car park.

Price for 2018 – £65 per person
To include; Lunch in Exeter, 3 course dinner at Langston Cliff Hotel, carvery supper at The Smugglers, civic reception at Bitton House, transport to Exeter by train, entry to the Cathedral and a guided tour of Exeter and Teignmouth.  Please note, we are asking hosts to provide lunch for their guests at Bitton House. We will be providing a Devon cream tea, and tea and coffee, as well as sparkling wine for toasts at Langston Cliff. Please note this cost has been subsidised by the Twinning Association, and we are also grateful to Teignmouth Town Council for proving financial assistance. This price is only available to members of the association and/or people who are hosting our guests. This price has been worked out on the assumption that we will subsidise the price by £500 from funds.
