2015 twinning visit in pictures

The weather was kind for the 2015 visit to the Rose granite coast
We arrived at the ‘Place de Teignmouth’ right on the waterfront and were met by around 50 members of the Perros-Guirec twinning association.
A highlight of the visit was a trip to the local science park, this huge balloon covers the electronic ‘ear’ which was used to receive transmissions from the Telstar satellite.
No visit to France would be complete without some gastronomic treats, and this picnic lunch was superb.
Religion plays a huge part in French life, and we visited the magnificent cathedral at Tréguier, which houses the bones of St Yves, the patron saint of Lawyers.

Just like Teignmouth, Perros-Guirec has a massive attachment to the sea, so we took the opportunity to visit the superb maritime museum at nearby Paimpol.
Music plays a big part in Breton life, so at our farewell dinner we had folk music and dancing after a superb meal.
