Minutes of the AGM held at the Heritage Centre, November 13th 2015

Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
Acting Chairman’s Report
In the absence of Bob Kennedy, the Secretary reviewed the year as follows:
We had a very successful visit to Perros-Guirec, the visits and social activities were most enjoyable and photographs were taken many of which were used for a photographic competition. We also had a successful public exhibition at TAAG presenting the Association’s activities.
Social activities included a new year lunch, quiz, Dutch suppers and lunches at every opportunity and a barbecue.
Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer reported on the past year and presented a written report. It was noted that the Association had adequate funds, however, there had been a reduction in membership which had reduced income. The Association now had to pay for the hiring of venues, which under the chairmanship of John Shircliff had been provided without charge. Other issues had been the increase in ferry charges and the underutilisation of coaches because many members had travelled by car. The committee had decided because of these factors a subsidy had been given to coach passengers.
The overall result of these factors had been a loss on the Perros-Guirec trip of £700 – 800.
The Treasurer, Terry Mitchell, was thanked for his report.

Open Forum
The new Chairman, Andy Benham took the chair and discussed future plans for the association. These included preparation of a website and developing a range of social activities for the coming year. The hosting of Perros-Guirec members and the programme of activities was discussed.
